Industrial Trading and Supply

Industrial products for your business

If your company purchases lifting and load-securing equipment, technical ropes or packaging materials for production, storage and transportation, DAWNERZ GmbH can be your supply partner in these product categories.

We work with manufacturers in different countries and are developing our product range across three categories.

Main product categories

Lifting and rigging equipment

Textile lifting slings, endless and eye-and-eye slings, lashing straps, shackles, hooks, load-handling attachments and other products for lifting, moving and securing loads.

Technical ropes and cords

Synthetic ropes made from polyester, polypropylene and polyamide, high-strength technical cords, paracord, rigging ropes and marine ropes.

Braided and twisted constructions in various diameters, including braided cores, parallel-fibre cores and coreless designs. Materials and configurations vary depending on the intended application.

Industrial packaging and cargo protection

Big bags (FIBCs), sea-container and rail-wagon liners made from polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP), dunnage airbags and container desiccants. Liners are used to transport food and agricultural raw materials, polymer granules, mineral and chemical materials, and other bulk goods. Materials and construction are selected according to cargo properties and transport requirements.

Finding alternative sources for rubber and polyurethane wear and replacement components to optimise purchasing costs and establish backup sources of supply.

Finding alternative manufacturers

Alternative sources for wear components

For businesses operating equipment subject to intensive wear, the cost of replacement components can account for a substantial share of repair and maintenance expenses.

Original spare parts and products from existing suppliers are not always optimal in terms of price, manufacturing lead times or minimum order quantities. Relying on a single supplier also creates risks when unexpected repairs or urgent spare parts are needed.

Where these components are used

In equipment at quarries, sand and gravel operations, cement plants, mineral processing facilities, recycling plants and other industrial sites.

Examples include conveyor systems, crushing and sorting equipment, screening machines, transfer points, hoppers, silos and other equipment where parts are exposed to abrasive, impact or mechanical wear.

Examples of components

Such parts are often manufactured to individual drawings and technical specifications:

  • Wear-resistant liners, plates, pads and protective coatings.
  • Rubber and polyurethane rollers, shafts and elastomer-coated components.
  • Scrapers, cleaning elements, rubber strips and protective belts.
  • Impact-absorbing elements, support blocks and other moulded components.

What buyers gain

Potential reduction in purchasing costs. Manufacturing costs for comparable parts can vary considerably between producers. Exploring alternatives makes it possible to assess whether the required component can be sourced on more favourable terms without compromising the specified performance characteristics.

An additional source of supply (Second Source). A second qualified manufacturer can reduce dependence on a single supplier and provide another option when deliveries are delayed, orders are urgent or purchasing terms change.

A stronger negotiating position. A comparable alternative quotation provides a more concrete basis for discussing prices, lead times and commercial terms with existing suppliers.

For manufacturers of industrial equipment and components seeking to enter the DACH market or expand their existing sales there.

Sales Development and Commercial Representation in DACH

Entering the DACH market

For a manufacturer with established production operations, entering a new foreign market can require significant commercial and organisational effort.

Product price matters, but by itself it does not guarantee successful market entry.

Companies need to account for local product requirements, adapt labelling and documentation, establish commercial terms, organise delivery and payment processes, build contacts with buyers and understand local business practices. Warranty servicing and customer complaints may also need to be addressed later.

Commercial representation of industrial equipment and component manufacturers in DACH is a prospective area of development for DAWNERZ GmbH.

Specialised DAWNERZ equipment for towing and recovering commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery and heavy equipment.
