Withdrawal Policy

Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

Consumers generally have a statutory right of withdrawal when concluding a distance contract.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us:

DAWNERZ GmbH
Eichhornstraße 3
c/o Indy by Industrious
10785 Berlin
Germany
E-mail: info@dawnerz.de

by means of a clear declaration (for example, by e-mail or post) of your decision to withdraw from this contract.

You may use the Model Withdrawal Form provided on our website for this purpose, although this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of standard delivery, without undue delay and no later than within fourteen days from the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal from this contract.

Additional costs arising from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us will not be reimbursed.

We will use the same means of payment for the reimbursement that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. In no event will you be charged any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence that you have sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.

Return of Goods

You must send back or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the withdrawal from this contract.

The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

Unless the goods are defective or a wrong item was delivered, you bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

If the goods are defective or an incorrect item was delivered, we will bear the reasonable return shipping costs.

Diminished Value

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this diminished value results from handling of the goods beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods

  • that are not prefabricated and for the production of which an individual choice or decision by the consumer is decisive, or
  • that are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.

Note on B2B Orders

This statutory right of withdrawal applies only to consumers.

It does not apply to orders placed by business customers within the meaning of the applicable law.
