Statutory Rights
Consumers have statutory rights in the event of defects.
These rights are not limited by the voluntary warranty set out below.
Voluntary Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty
In addition, DAWNERZ GmbH grants a voluntary limited manufacturer’s warranty of 3 years from the date of purchase for its tow straps against defects in materials and workmanship under intended use.
This voluntary warranty is an additional promise and applies alongside the buyer’s statutory rights.
What is covered?
This voluntary manufacturer’s warranty applies exclusively to:
- verifiable defects in materials
- verifiable defects in workmanship
- failures caused by a manufacturing defect despite intended use
What is not covered?
This voluntary manufacturer’s warranty does not apply in particular to:
- normal wear and tear
- cosmetic signs of use
- overloading
- incorrect attachment
- use other than for the intended purpose
- contact with sharp edges
- abrasion, cuts, crushing, or other external mechanical damage
- damage caused by improper storage, moisture, UV exposure, chemicals, or other external influences
- unauthorized modifications or repairs
- products with a missing or illegible label or no longer traceable identification
Product Registration
Product registration is not a condition for statutory rights.
However, it may help us to:
- identify products more quickly,
- verify purchases made through third-party channels more easily,
- and handle service or warranty requests more efficiently.
Warranty Handling
If a valid warranty claim exists, DAWNERZ may, at its discretion:
- replace the product,
- provide an equivalent replacement product,
- or offer another appropriate solution.
This voluntary warranty does not cover further damages, consequential losses, loss of use, or loss of profit.
Goodwill Outside the Warranty
Even if a case is not covered by this voluntary warranty, we may review a goodwill solution on a case-by-case basis.
